| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] A first approach to the art of China and Japan will allow us to appreciate how, in many cases, the presence or representations of nature part of their uniqueness. But in addition, in these works we find a horizontal understandíng of the oriental look that enables a spatio-temporal evolution of them. ln an attempt to understand how this look is based on oriental cosmology, and how this, in turn, is reflected in theír traditional social structures - and the consequent reflection having all this art - this work is an analysis of some Japanese artistic representations - from the Muromachi period until the Edo, passing through the Monoyama period - in which we can find the so-called "continuous method". Thus, ín the most varied artístic manifestations, horizontality is as characteristic as many other aesthetíc values of japanese culture, so perhaps we should wonder whether it can be classified as one of them. | |
