Estoicismo y política: líneas de confrontación

Abstract

This article argues that there is a sharp opposition in Stoicism between two lines of polit cal thought: the opposition has its source in the abstract and utopian Zeno´s Politeia. This work would contain incentives for different and opposing developments that probably, materialize?, probably, in Persaois of Kition and Sphaerus of Borysthenes first, secondly, then in Diogenes of Babylon and Antipater of Tarsus, and, finally, in Panaetius of Rhodes and Blossius of Cumae.

En este artículo se argumenta que existe una aguda oposición en el estoicismo entre dos líneas de pensamiento político: esa oposición tiene su fuente en la politeia abstracta y utópica de Zenón, en cuyo interior se encuentran estímulos para desarrollos diferentes y opuestos, que se materializan, probablemente, primero en Perseo y Esfero, después en Diógenes de Apolonia y Antípatro, y, finalmente, en Panecio y Blosio.
