Resumen
[ES]Los niños de Educación Infantil llegan a la escuela con un estilo de apego
concreto debido a la interacción de sus sistemas de conducta y el de sus figuras de
apego. A partir de estas experiencias de interacción, el niño genera un modelo interno
que contiene expectativas, creencias y emociones acerca de la accesibilidad y
disponibilidad de la figura de apego y sobre la capacidad de uno mismo para generar
protección y afecto. Este modelo influirá en la identidad y la autoestima del niño, y por
tanto, tiene repercusiones en el ámbito escolar tanto a la hora de relacionarse con sus
compañeros y profesores como en su forma de enfrentarse a nuevos aprendizajes.
Debido a la gran influencia del estilo de apego inicial en el desarrollo y bienestar
posterior, a lo largo de este trabajo se estudia el rol del maestro de educación infantil
como figura de apego y su capacidad para compensar el bienestar y la seguridad
emocional que muchas familias no pueden proporcionar a los niños. Partiendo de la
revisión previa sobre la teoría del apego y la relevancia del maestro como figura
subsidiaria, se presentan algunas pautas de actuación que permitan al maestro de infantil
ser la base de seguridad que todo niño necesita.
