Resumen
[ES] En la España del Renacimiento, las capillas musicales catedralicias tuvieron una función fundamental en la formación de músicos profesionales: la misma estructura que proveía la música para las ceremonias del culto era la que se encargaba también de la formación de los cantores. La figura central de esta institución era el maestro de capilla que, entre sus cometidos, tenía también que encargarse de la educación de los mozos de coro o seises. Mediante la formación musical recibida en el ámbito de la capilla entre los seis y doce años de edad, un joven podía seguir con su actividad también después del cambio de la voz, entrando a formar parte del grupo de cantores adultos; llegar a ser maestro de capilla constituía el punto culminante de esta carrera. En esta ponencia intentaré reconstruir el currículo de estudios musicales con el que tenía que cimentarse un pequeño cantor para llegar a ser un músico profesional, utilizando dos clases de fuentes: por un lado las actas capitulares de algunas catedrales españolas y, por el otro, los tratados teóricos de Francisco Tovar, Domingo Marcos Durán, Diego del Puerto, Juan Bermudo, Francisco de Montanos y Domenico Pietro Cerone.
