Resumen
Paralelamente al desarrollo de la SIS-C, la AAIDD recoge la importancia de
conocer las necesidades de apoyo típicas en niños sin discapacidad y propone una serie
de indicadores normativos que permitan diferenciar entre aquellas necesidades “típicas”
y aquellas otras extraordinarias. Por ello, han elaborado una herramienta basada en el
consenso de los profesionales de la educación, que recoge las necesidades que se estiman
características de los niños y adolescentes con un desarrollo normativo (dicha herramienta
consta de siete secciones y seis versiones por pares de edad, coincidiendo con la SIS-C).
El objetivo del presente trabajo, financiado por la Junta de Castilla y León (SA120U13),
y que forma parte de una tesis doctoral en desarrollo (bajo el amparo de una beca-contrato
FPU), es presentar el procedimiento de adaptación y resultados preliminares, sobre una
muestra de 58 aplicaciones, de la adecuación de dichos indicadores normativos en el
contexto español, tomando como referencia los pares de edad 5-6, 9-10 y 15-16 años.
