[EN]Through the acceptance of the existential absurd, Albert Camus adopted
like more effective reply a kind of solidary and modest rebellion mainly based on faith
in human beings. A human being who, despite living in a contradictory world, must be
capable of looking for the balance as the only way to beat absurdity and get over their
inevitable death.
This French author of Algerian origin was an action man who fought during his whole
life against injustice, violence and all forms of oppression, which he denounced not only
in his personal life but also in his great literary work. For Camus, Literature didn’t
represent a simple amusement, but a way to change the world, the writer should take
sides and, for carrying it out, fiction had to keep an appropriate relationship between
reality and above all the truth. An aspect that we can be reflected through the deep and
recurrent harmony between his life and his writing.
