Resumen
[ES]Mediante el presente trabajo se analizan dos variables existentes en los pacientes diagnosticados de Trastorno por Uso de Alcohol, que acuden a la Unidad de Tratamiento del Alcoholismo de Salamanca.
En primer lugar, se trata de objetivar las características de la adicción al alcohol en estos pacientes, centrándonos principalmente en factores relacionados con su consumo y que nos pudieran indicar la gravedad de su patología: la edad de inicio, duración y nivel de consumo de alcohol, consecuencias adversas en el ámbito laboral, social y familiar, intensidad de la dependencia, del deseo ("craving”), y tratamientos previos.
En segundo lugar, analizamos las características de personalidad en dichos pacientes. Utilizamos en ambos casos las escalas más adecuadas disponibles en la actualidad.
