Resumen
[ES] Mi trabajo de investigación deja claro que la lengua española disfruta de un buen momento en los Estados Unidos. Los hispanohablantes defienden su lengua cada vez con más ahínco ante el empuje casi siempre omnipotente y omnipresente del inglés. En las aulas de lenguas extranjeras el español domina el panorama educativo y no hay visos de que la situación vaya a cambiar. Este trabajo ha pretendido crear una base de datos sólida que sirva para entender la realidad actual de la enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera. Paralelamente, hemos querido proponer algunos puntos de reflexión para futuros estudios que analicen su evolución. Las recomendaciones recogidas en este capítulo son un punto de partida para mejorar la eficiencia en determinados aspectos metodológicos y potenciar así la experiencia educativa de los estudiantes.
