Resumen
[ES] Esta tesis establece un paralelismo entre los Cuatro cuartetos (1936-1942) de T.S. Eliot y el Poema sin héroe (1940-1962) de Anna Ajmátova. El objetivo es crear un puente entre la vanguardia angloamericana y la rusa de principios del siglo XX, en especial el modernismo. El vanguardismo modernista es un movimiento único en muchos sentidos, dada la dificultad de definirlo en su contexto geográfico e histórico. Por lo tanto, la lectura atenta de estos dos autores, de origen angloamericano y ruso, sirve como una prueba más de la multidimensionalidad del modernismo en términos del espacio, contexto y proceso históricos.
