Resumen
[ES Este trabajo profundiza en dos elementos fundamentales para la gestión de las organizaciones, las competencias emocionales y el control interno.
En la actualidad, la importancia creciente de las capacidades emocionales exige su
consideración para una adecuada gestión de los recursos humanos. El sector público no debe
quedarse atrás y debe evolucionar en este entorno VUCA en el que nos encontramos. Por
tanto, se deben analizar y aplicar las últimas tendencias de cara a conseguir mayores niveles
de eficiencia en los recursos humanos vinculados a estas organizaciones.
El control interno es otro de los aspectos fundamentales que se deben tener en cuenta
durante la gestión, como instrumento con la finalidad de evitar los posibles riesgos con los
que deben de enfrentar las organizaciones o para minimizar el efecto de los mismos.
En esta tesis nos hemos centrado en estos dos elementos, fusionando el modelo
COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway), que marcó un hito en el
control interno, con el modelo de Goleman de competencias emocionales, que ha supuesto
un gran avance en la gestión de los recursos humanos. Se ha planteado una hipótesis con tres
variables, que serán explicadas en la metodología y que son, las competencias emocionales,
las actividades de control y los perfiles de auditor. Se analiza, por tanto, la repercusión que
tienen las competencias emocionales, y si tienen influencia en las tareas de control interno,
así como en los distintos perfiles de auditor que pueden existir.
Las herramientas utilizadas para la recopilación de los datos de este estudio han sido
dos, un panel de expertos, y una encuesta remitida a profesionales del sector de la auditoría.
Se ha demostrado que los factores emocionales tienen una influencia significativa en
el control interno y en las competencias de los auditores, dentro del marco del sector público.
Este análisis puede contribuir a nuevas aplicaciones en la gestión de la eficiencia del sector
público, aportando una visión enriquecedora de la persona y del trabajo.]
