El sida en el periódico Al-Raya de Catar: análisis del léxico sanitario

Abstract

En este trabajo presentamos un análisis del léxico sanitario extraído del corpus de traducciones del periódico digital catarí Al-Raya. En primer lugar, realizaremos una aproximación al contexto VIH/sida en el mundo y en el caso específico de Catar. En segundo lugar, mencionaremos unas nociones del lenguaje árabe médico y sus problemas. A continuación, analizaremos el léxico sanitario ofreciendo datos de carácter morfológico para cada lexía. Por último, daremos una breve aproximación a la división semántica de los términos en biosanitarios y sanitarios. ENGLISH: In the present work we present an analysis of vocabulary related to health service, extracted from a corpus of translations of the digital newspaper Al-Raya. Firstly, we offer a general context of the HIV/AIDS around the world, and, later on Qatar. After that we mention some examples of the Arabic medical terms and its problems. Afterwards, we analyze the medial vocabulary offering morphological data for each term. Finally, we briefly examine the semantic division of the medical and biomedical terms.
