| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] The presence of technology in our society leads to inequalities between generations. For this reason, this document presents a study that aims to analyse the effect that the implementation and use of ICT has had since the younger generations to the longest in the province of Salamanca revealing the generational digital divide. After a comprehensive review of the existing literatura about the subject, a theoretical framework is established to contextualize it, and a instrument for data collection, since those located do not meet the objectives raised. Being a methodology centered on a positivist paradigm, based in empiricism, of a quantitative nature and of a non-experimental or ex-post–facto type with cross-sectional design, without application of treatment, a questionnaire is designed, which is validated. The sample of the study is 387 subjects of legal age and belonging to Salamanca capital and province. The survey was disseminated digitally and analogically from 6 from March to April 30, 2023. After data collection and analysis, a comparison between the young generation (up to 50 years included) and the generation of middle age and older and significant differences are observed between both groups population in terms of emotional plane, possibilities or opportunities of access, usefulness found and possible resistance in relation to ICT. It is concluded that there a social problem (generational digital divide) in this geographical area that political institutions must face. | en_EN |
