Resumen
A partir del estudio de las instituciones culturales presentes en los campos de refugiados saharauis en La Hamada podemos examinar como se construye a partir del espacio físico y virtual una memoria de la resistencia saharaui. Empleando el proceso de musealización como herramienta principal, se crean espacios como museos y asociaciones destinados a la construcción y conservación de memoria histórica e identidad. Así, el Museo Nacional del Pueblo Saharaui, el Museo del Ejército de Liberación Popular y la Asociación de Familiares de Presos y Desaparecidos Saharauis (AFAPREDESA) entre otros, se configuran como medios para la visibilización de un conflicto sociopolítico para el que las vías de la política internacional y las misiones de paz se encuentran estancadas. Contando con el apoyo del estado de la República Árabe Saharaui Democrática y de otras organizaciones saharauis se construyen espacios de memoria y experiencias de resistencia, que resultan especialmente relevantes al tratarse de una sociedad marginalizada y perseguida constantemente. El proceso de musealización de la cultura de resistencia saharaui se articula a partir de diferentes sucesos, su documentación y las producciones culturales en torno a ellos, como la Marcha Verde, Gdeim Izik, la desaparición de algunos de sus líderes, las protestas en los territorios ocupados y la denuncia de las constantes violaciones a los derechos humanos.
