Resumen
El silenciamiento génico mediante RNAi de cada una de las dos subunidades que conforman la glutamato-cisteína ligasa (enzima limitante de la biosíntesis de glutation) es capaz de inducir apoptosis neuronal por disminución de su capacidad antioxidante. El artículo describe varias secuencias de RNA interferente para cada subunidad de la enzima mencionada.
