Salida de campo al soto de La Flecha, río Pisuerga a su paso por Valladolid capital, el 16 de junio de 1951, de la que se anotaron observaciones sobre las siguientes aves: Acrocephalus scirpaceus (Carricero común), Caprimulgus ruficollis (Chotacabras cuellirojo), Coracias garrulus (Carraca europea), Corvus corone (Corneja negra), Hippolais polyglotta (Zarcero común), Luscinia megarhynchos (Ruiseñor común), Merops apiaster (Abejaruco europeo), Milvus migrans (Milano negro), Oriolus oriolus (Oropéndola), Passer montanus (Gorrión molinero), Phylloscopus bonelli (Mosquitero papialbo), Pica pica (Urraca), Picus viridis (Pito real), Serinus serinus (Verdecillo), Strix aluco (Cárabo común), Sylvia communis (Curruca zarcera) y Turdus viscivorus (Zorzal charlo). Se incluyen varias ilustraciones a rotulador de diferentes especies.
Field trip to the grove of La Flecha, near the Pisuerga River passing through the city of Valladolid, the 16th of June of 1951, there were noted observations about the following birds: Acrocephalus scirpaceus (Reed Warbler), Caprimulgus ruficollis (Red-necked Nightjar), Coracias garrulus (European Roller), Corvus corone (Carrion Crow), Hippolais polyglotta (Melodius Warbler), Luscinia megarhynchos (Common Nightingale), Merops apiaster (European Bee-eater), Milvus migrans (Black Kite), Oriolus oriolus (Eurasian Golden-oriole), Passer montanus (Eurasian Tree Sparrow), Phylloscopus bonelli (Bonelli´s Warbler), Pica pica (Black-billed Magpie), Picus viridis (Eurasian Green Woodpecker), Serinus serinus (European Serin), Strix aluco (Tawny Owl), Sylvia communis (Common Whitethroat) and Turdus viscivorus (Mistle Thrush). Some felt-tip pen illustrations of different species are included.
