dc.description.abstract[EN] The aim of this work is to analyse the producers' situation in different types of lordship: behetrías and concejos de realengo. The level of exploitation and coercion and the possibilities of accumulation in each regime are evaluated through study of the differential nuances of lordship and class composition. Together with an analysis of the charges, in an attempt to determine their volume, the problem of the number of lords with the right to gain tribute from the same lordship is dealt with, implying an evaluation of the diviseros' activity in behetrías and of the jurisdictional power of the concejos de realengo. A comparative analysis leads to the conclusion that there was more coercion in the behetrías. Finally, through study of the composition of rents and the methods of payment, peasant social stratification is analysed in each sphere of lordship, in order to determine whether social polarization existed between the wealthy group and the impoverished masses. This situation is confirmed for the concejos de realengo, whereas in the behetrías, the frequent uniformity of the rent, its imposition on dispossessed sectors and the absence of persons exempt due to poverty who could be employed as wage earners allow us to postulate a greater social homogeneity, which could be explained by the high level of exploitation and coercions suffered by the peasants.es_ES
