[EN]The second half of the twentieth century in Venezuela is one of the political and cultural moments in the history of the country. In 1958, the last dictatorship that culminated live the nation, Marcos Perez Jimenez, and the social atmosphere in which it produces, nourishes and gives way to a literature and art, that open new spaces of meaning. At this key moment of boiling creative in the fields of art, politics and culture, five authors begin to publish their works, which will draw a number of different poetic territorial lines to those previously established. We refer to Juan Sánchez Peláez (1922-2003), Poems (1930), Ramón Palomares (1935), Eugenio Montejo (1938-2008) and Gustavo Pereira (1940). This study will review the writing of two of the components in this set, the last chronologically: Eugenio Montejo and Gustavo Pereira, whereas chains is one of the best known Venezuelan poets and researchers within and outside the país3, as the same Montejo Palomares and Pereira and still expect to be sufficiently studied and valued, while gardes would be in an intermediate stage of recognition between these two groups.
