Las radios universitarias y la educación intercultural: el caso práctico del proyecto Pangea

Abstract

[EN]College radios have a series of conditions making them able to be employed on education. One of the is its very auditive aspect, one of the three learning channels. Salamanca hosts a relevant cultural diversity within its territory, not only international but also national and religious. Among the different ways to manage such a plurality, interculturality bets on recognizing and preserving the differences, while bets on the interaction among communities. The relation between the I and the Other turns out essential in this atmosphere. The project Pangea, broadcated at Radio USAL, is a weekly show that pretends to spread aspects of other cultures.

[ES]El medio radiofónico presenta una serie de condiciones que le capacitan para su uso educativo. Una de ellas es, precisamente, el aspecto auditivo, uno de los tres canales de aprendizaje. Salamanca presenta una considerable diversidad cultural en su territorio, tanto internacional como nacional y religiosa. De entre las diferentes formas de gestión de esta pluralidad, la interculturalidad apuesta por el reconocimiento y preserva de las diferencias, a la vez que apuesta por la interacción entre las comunidades. La relación entre el Yo y el Otro se vuelve central en este ambiente. El proyecto Pangea, desarrollado en Radio USAL, es un programa semanal que pretende difundir aspectos de otras culturas.
