Estudio exploratorio del concepto de infinito actual en el Aula de Secundaria: Inconsistencias e incoherencias

Abstract

[ES]En el presente trabajo se pretende profundizar en el análisis del objeto matemático conocido como infinito actual en el Aula de Secundaria; a partir del estudio de las posibles coherencias e incoherencias, consistencias e inconsistencias presentadas por los alumnos respecto a este concepto, siguiendo las investigaciones previas de la Dra. Sabrina Garbin, (Garbin, 2000; Garbin y Azcárate, 2002; Garbin, 2005). Dicha investigación se enmarca dentro de una metodología de tipo cualitativo, empleando como instrumento de recogida de datos un cuestionario en el que se contextualizan diversos problemas que involucran el concepto de infinito, expresados en lenguajes matemáticos diferentes.

[EN]At the present memoir we intend to deepen into the analysis of the mathematical object known as actual infinity in Secondary School. We will take as reference the previous work developed by Dr. Sabrina Garbin (Garbin, 2000; Garbin y Azcárate, 2002; Garbin, 2005), where the possible coherences and incoherencies, consistencies and inconsistencies about this concept are widely studied. Our research is framed within a qualitative methodology, using a questionnaire as our data collection instrument, in which some exercises that involve the concept of actual infinity are presented, expressed in different mathematical languages.
