El pensamiento educativo de Cajal

Abstract

This work shows some subjects about education that were studied by Cajal. Exactly, the philosophical foundations, the concept of intelligence and its operations, the correct education of intelligence and the possible errors. So, for example, it is showed that all school activity is not educative, because, so that to be, it must arise from the interest of the pupils. Otherwise, the activity is only an obstacle that must be surpassed at once.

En este trabajo se exponen algunos de los temas sobre educación abordados por Cajal. Concretamente, los presupuestos filosóficos de que parte, el concepto de inteligencia y su funcionamiento, la forma correcta de educación intelectual y los errores que en ésta pueden cometerse. Así, por ejemplo, se demuestra que no toda actividad escolar es educativa, puesto que, para serlo, debe surgir del interés de los alumnos. De otro modo, la actividad es sólo un estorbo que cuanto antes hay que superar.
