Abstract

La insistencia actual en los procesos de ciudadanía, educación para la ciudadanía y educación ecológica no es casual. Responde a necesidades reales ante los graves peligros que asedian al medio natural y humano. Peligros que están pidiendo a voces un cambio en los estilos de vida dominantes. Educar para una ciudadanía ecológica surge aquí como un desafío urgente e ineludible. El objetivo de este escrito es mostrar que el hombre no puede permanecer indiferente ante este desafío y ha de comprometerse en el objetivo de trabajar solidariamente por construir un presente y un futuro sostenibles.
