Valoración económica del capital natural afectado por la línea de alta velocidad Madrid-Barcelona

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo tiene como objetivo calcular el impacto ambiental de la vía de alta velocidad Madrid-Barcelona mediante la valoración económica del capital natural afectado por esta. Esta valoración se va a llevar a cabo mediante el método de transferencia de beneficios, el cual implica la adaptación de la información de valoración existente a nuevos contextos en los que no hay datos de valoración o estos son limitados. Los costes de construcción de la vía solo representan sobre el 4,2% del total del impacto ambiental Como conclusión encontramos una gran pérdida de capital natural, igualmente explicamos las limitaciones a las que está sujeto este estudio, añadiendo una serie de posibles futuras mejoras.

[EN] This work aims to calculate the environmental impact of the Madrid-Barcelona high-speed line through the economic valuation of the natural capital affected by it. This valuation is to take place using the benefit transfer method, which invloves the adaptation of existing valuation information to new contexts where is no or limited valuation data. The construction costs of the train line represent only about 4.2 % of the total environmental impact. As a conclusion we found a great loss of natural capital, we also explained the limitations to which this study is subject, adding a number of possible future improvements.
