En el trabajo titulado “RETRATO DE LA SOCIEDAD PERUANA DEL SIGLO XIX EN BLANCA SOL DE MERCEDES CABELLO DE CARBONERA” se analiza la sociedad peruana decimonónica a través de la novela Blanca Sol de Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera. Constará de dos apartados, el primero titulado “El papel social de Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera” tratará de profundizar el sucesos más destacables de la autora así como sus influencias literarias y su ideología. El segundo apartado, “Blanca Sol”, profundizará en los personajes femeninos y masculinos. Así mismo, ligados a los personajes femeninos se analizará el tratamiento del matrimonio, de las pasiones y del lujo, tres temas preponderantes en la obra y que son usados para plasmar la realidad.
ENGLISH: n the work entitled "PORTRAIT OF THE PERUVIAN SOCIETY OF THE XIX CENTURY IN BLANCA SOL DE MERCEDES CABELLO DE CARBONERA" the nineteenth-century Peruvian society is analyzed through the novel Blanca Sol by Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera. It will consist of two sections, the first entitled "The Social Role of Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera" will try to deepen the author's most notable events as well as her literary influences and ideology. The second section, "Blanca Sol", will delve into male and female characters. Likewise, linked to female characters, the treatment of marriage, passions and luxury will be analyzed, three main themes in the work that are used to capture reality.
