El Cid conoce a Ned Stark. La visión posmoderna del Medievo

Abstract

En este trabajo nos proponemos analizar los vasos comunicantes entre dos personajes principales: Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, “El Cid”, y Eddard, “Ned”, Stark, de sendas obras narrativas: el Cantar de Mio Cid y Canción de Fuego Hielo I. Juego de Tronos. Para llevar a cabo esta tarea, nos serviremos de un enfoque comparatista en el ámbito de la Tematología. Posteriormente, nos dedicaremos a especificar cada objeto de la comparación, indicando las características que sean necesarias para ello: la época o corriente cultural a la que pertenecen, la estética que manejan, el género literario en el que se incluyen y la propia naturaleza de los objetos, que es la de “personaje literario”, centrándonos especialmente en cómo funciona el arquetipo del héroe en cada uno. ENGLISH: In this paper we propose to analyze the communicating vessels between two main characters: Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, "El Cid", and Eddard, "Ned", Stark, of two narrative works: the Song of Mio Cid and Song of Fire and Ice I. Game of Thrones. In order to carry out this task, we will use a comparative approach in the field of Thematology. Subsequently, we will specify each object of comparison, indicating the necessary characteristics: the period or cultural current to which they belong, the aesthetics they deal with, the literary genre in which they are included and the very nature of the objects, which is that of "literary character", focusing especially on how the archetype of the hero works in each one.
