Les fleurs du mal et la coexistence de contraires: analyse d'une coincidentia oppositorum

Abstract

[ESP] En esta disertación se realizará un trabajo de análisis desde lo más general hasta lo más específico, a través del hilo conductor de la coincidentia oppositorum que recorre la colección de poemas de Las Flores del mal. Me serví de un corpus seleccionado de poemas relevantes para ilustrar los aspectos a analizar. De antemano, la hipótesis general en la que se basa este trabajo se explicará, por un lado, a través de las teorías relevantes que respaldan esta conjetura, y, por otro lado, a partir de la poética de Baudelaire. Posteriormente, se explorarán los diferentes grados y etapas en los que se produce la coexistencia de contrarios. Comenzaré con una escala de análisis más general para expresar las ocurrencias de la unión de contrarios en el aspecto formal y de fondo. En segundo lugar, profundizaré este análisis centrándome en la variación temática y, en última instancia, estudiaré las figuras retóricas de oposición y los efectos que se generan en el lector para exaltar el carácter ambivalente del yo poético y del autor.

[ENG] n this study, a work of analysis will be carried out from the most general to the most specific, regarding the common thread of the coincidentia oppositorum that runs through the collection of Les fleurs du mal (The flowers of evil). I used a selected corpus of relevant poems to illustrate the aspects to be analyzed. Beforehand, the general hypothesis on which this work is based will be explained, on the one hand, via the relevant theories that support this conjecture, and on the other hand, from the poetics of Baudelaire. Subsequently, the different degrees and stages in which the coexistence of opposites takes place will be explored. I will start with a scale of analysis that I will call "macro" to express the occurrence of the unity of contraries in the aspect of form and content. Second, I will deepen this analysis by focusing on the thematic variation, and ultimately, I will study the figures of speech that oppose ideas, and the effects generated in the reader to exalt the ambivalent character of the poetic self and the author.
