El paisaje lingüístico del municipio de Ibiza

Abstract

El paisaje lingüístico consiste en un tipo de análisis sociolingüístico relativamente novedoso en el ámbito español. Significativo en áreas de bilingüismo, se ha utilizado para el estudio del español, del catalán y de los contrastes que se producen con otras lenguas no nacionales en el municipio de Ibiza. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es dar a conocer la situación lingüística de la zona teniendo en cuenta todas las lenguas encontradas y, a partir de ello, deducir la realidad sociolingüística manifestada por los signos lingüísticos.

The linguistic landscape consists of a relatively new type of sociolinguistic analysis in the spanish field. Significant in areas of bilingualism, it has been used for the study of spanish, catalan and the contrasts that occur with other non-national languages in the municipality of Ibiza. The main objective of this work is to make known the linguistic situation of the area taking into account all the languages found and, from this, to deduce the sociolinguistic reality manifested by the linguistic signs.
