STARLINK: La nueva red satelital mundial de comunicaciones.

Abstract

[ES]Actualmente hay una lucha entre las empresas y compañías tecnológicas por ofrecer cada vez un servicio de Internet más y más rápido, sin que esto suponga pérdidas de calidad en el propio servicio. Además, también se busca cubrir globalmente todos los lugares, de manera que no haya un solo punto en nuestro planeta que no tenga un buen servicio de Internet o desconexiones. Es aquí donde nace la idea de utilizar satélites de baja órbita para ofrecer dicho servicio, y es aquí donde nace Starlink. Este proyecto busca ofrecer un servicio de Internet satelital, de manera que un usuario pueda conectarse desde cualquier parte del mundo por una mensualidad. Pero no se busca sustituir a las opciones actuales, sino complementarlas. Sin embargo, no solo el arriesgado proyecto de SpaceX busca este cometido, sino que ya son varios los gigantes que quieren realizar como OneWeb, o el propio Amazon a través de Kuiper Systems LLC. En este documento, se va a llevar a cabo una explicación de que es Starlink, además del desarrollo de una aplicación móvil que permite la localización de los propios satélites para así informar a los usuarios de que satélites tiene disponibles en su zona o en una zona determinada.
