[EN] Mathematics have always been present in the daily life of the child. In fact, it is based on everyday events to teach them mathematical concepts, basic arithmetic operations using things and/or situations in their environment. It is a proven and accepted fact.
Literature is another element that they have known and enjoyed since their childhood due to its playful nature and for being a means through which cultural values and knowledge are transmitted. Through the review of different scientific articles, the benefits of it in the mathematics classroom are verified, such as the development of critica! thinking, positive construction of the logical-mathematical structure and it allows us to carry out an interdisciplinary education by relating both. To know the state of the matter, a bibliographic review of the presence of mathematics in literary contexts and the benefits of using literature in the mathematics class is cai-ried out. This review highlights the links between both areas. In addition to this, there will be a compilation of cunent projects and works that are addressed from this same perspective. After a brief analysis of the collected data, a didactic proposal will be made in which, using the book "The number devil", mathematical and literary content is worked on, as well as oral and written expression. through research, search, reasoning and reflection.
