Evolución y retos del urbanismo en España.

Abstract

[ES] El desarrollo del derecho urbanístico Español no ha sido siempre lineal, por ello realizaremos un recorrido por la evolución del urbanismo en España, abordando las diversas leyes promulgadas en la materia, así como los objetivos que han ido persiguiendo los diferentes textos legales. Introduciremos el modelo de ciudad dispersa que ha caracterizado al derecho urbanístico Español hasta hace algo más de una década, el cual ha creado repercusiones negativas a nivel ambiental, económico y social, nos basaremos en el principio de desarrollo urbano sostenible como motor del cambio en el desarrollo de las ciudades en España que impulse un ideal modelo de ciudad basado en la sostenibilidad urbana y medioambiental, con pretensiones de lograr el tipo de ciudad llamada Smart city, la cual pretende utilizar la tecnología de la información y comunicación (TIC) con el objetivo de crear mejores ciudades. [EN] The development of Spanish urban law has not always been linear, so we will take a tour of the evolution of urban planning in Spain, addressing the various laws enacted on the subject, as well as the objectives that the different legal texts have been pursuing. We will introduce the dispersed city model that has characterized Spanish urban law until a little over a decade ago, which has created negative repercussions at an environmental, economic and social level, we will base ourselves on the principle of sustainable urban development as the engine of change in the development of cities in Spain that promotes an ideal city model based on urban and environmental sustainability, with the aim of achieving the type of city called Smart city, which aims to use information and communication technology (ICT) with the aim to create better cities.
