Desarrollo fonético en niños con TDL

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado tiene como finalidad identificar y etiquetar los rasgos de desarrollo fonético-fonológico en niños que padecen Trastorno del Desarrollo del Lenguaje. Para empezar, se tendrá en cuenta qué entendemos por el desarrollo fonético-fonológico en lengua materna, en tanto que se trata de la base de la investigación realizada. Por ello, se dará un breve recorrido por las diferentes teorías que se han planteado para este progreso tan complejo, así como para las etapas que se han establecido de forma más comúnmente aceptada para explicarlo. A continuación, se comentarán las etapas de desarrollo fonético-fonológico de un niño normotípico tomando como referencia el artículo de Fresneda y Mendoza (2005). Seguidamente, se hablará en profundidad sobre el Trastorno del Desarrollo del Lenguaje (TDL): qué es, sus causas, qué nomenclatura se usa, cómo se detecta, así como cuáles son sus manifestaciones lingüísticas más frecuentes, en particular, qué características fonético-fonológicas puede presentar. Por último, se analizarán los errores fonético-fonológicos que cometen los niños con TDL en función de la disposición del fonema en la palabra. De esta manera, el lector obtendrá un análisis pormenorizado de los rasgos fonético-fonológicos de un niño diagnosticado con TDL en comparación con el progreso de la adquisición fonológica de un niño normotípico.

The purpose of this Final Degree Project is to identify and label phonetic-phonological development traits in children with Language Development Disorder. To begin with, we will take into account what we understand by phonetic-phonological development in the mother tongue, as it is the basis of the research carried out. For this reason, a brief tour of the different theories that have been proposed for this complex progress will be given, as well as the stages that have been established in the most commonly accepted way to explain it. Next, the stages of phonetic-phonological development of a normotypical child will be commented, taking as reference the article by Fresneda and Mendoza (2005). Next, we will talk in depth about Language Development Disorder (LDD): what it is, its causes, what nomenclature is used, how it is detected, as well as what are its most frequent linguistic manifestations, in particular, what phonetic-phonological characteristics can present. Finally, the phonetic-phonological errors committed by children with TDL will be analyzed based on the arrangement of the phoneme in the word. In this way, the reader will obtain a detailed analysis of the phonetic-phonological features of a child diagnosed with TDL in comparison with the progress of phonological acquisition of a normotypical child.
