La masculinidad hegemónica en Corea del Sur y la participación del público masculino en el cuidado del hogar

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo de investigación supone un viaje en el tiempo, a la Corea de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, para estudiar cuál ha sido el proceso de consolidación de la masculinidad hegemónica desde aquella época hasta la actualidad (y ver, al mismo tiempo, cómo dichos arquetipos han afectado a los valores educacionales, conductuales y morales, así como los roles de género) y analizar la participación de la población masculina en el cuidado del hogar y de los hijos.

This research work involves a trip in time, to the Korea of the second half of the 20th century, to study what has been the process of consolidation of hegemonic masculinity from that time to the present (and see, at the same time, how these archetypes have affected educational, behavioral and moral values, as well as gender roles) and analyze the participation of the male population in taking care of the home and children.
