El futuro de la jubilación: hacia un sistema sostenible en España

Abstract

[ES] Una población cada vez más envejecida, unas tasas de natalidad y fecundidad cada vez menores, una esperanza de vida más alta y la evolución de la fuerza laboral son y serán los factores que determinen el cuándo, el cómo y el por qué de la jubilación en España. Aun así, parece que la sociedad sigue expectante a lo que pase, sin que por ahora se estén previendo demasiados cambios, es por ello que con este trabajo se trata de examinar cuáles han sido los mecanismos que se han adoptado en España y en los países de su alrededor, y qué soluciones ajenas podría el Estado español adoptar como propias y llevarlas a cabo. [EN] An increasingly ageing population, falling birth and fertility rates, higher life expectancy and the evolution of the labour force are and will be the factors that determine the when, how and why of retirement in Spain. Even so, it seems that society is still waiting to see what happens, without too many changes being foreseen for the time being, which is why this paper attempts to examine the mechanisms that have been adopted in Spain and surrounding countries, and what foreign solutions the Spanish state could adopt as its own and implement them.
