Síntesis de un organocatalizador biomimético para reacciones de transesterificación.

Abstract

[EN]In this research work, the aim is to synthesise an organocatalyst that mimics the active site of hydrolase enzymes. Enzymes are extensively used in industry but are sensitive to reaction conditions, such as pH and temperature, and often increase the cost of processes. It would be valuable to have synthetic organic molecules that mimic the active site of enzymes while maintaining catalytic activity. The synthesised molecule successfully carried out the transesterification reaction of ethyl acetate, an unactivated ester.

[ES]En este TFG se propone la síntesis de un organocatalizador que mimetice el centro activo de enzimas hidrolasas. Las enzimas tienen una gran aplicación en la industria pero son sensibles a las condiciones de reacción, pH, temperatura, etc. y suelen encarecer el coste de los procesos. Sería interesante poder disponer de moléculas orgánicas sintéticas que mimetizaran el centro activo de las enzimas manteniendo la actividad catalítica. La molécula sintetizada realizó la reacción de transesterificación del acetato de etilo, un éster no activado, con éxito.
