Aplicación Web para el grupo de investigación en minería de datos

Abstract

[ES]Este proyecto realizado como Trabajo de Fin de Grado radica en la implementación y mejora de la página web para el Grupo de Investigación en Minería de Datos. El proyecto tiene como base actualizar la página web ya existente del Grupo de Investigación en Minería de Datos de la Universidad de Salamanca, dando a dicha página un aspecto más actual. Esta aplicación web se puede enfocar desde dos puntos de vista diferentes, el usuario externo que utilizará la web para visualizar información, y los miembros del grupo que introducirán publicaciones y datos de interés en el sistema. Para el usuario será una interfaz sencilla e intuitiva que le permita navegar por cualquier sección de la página, de forma libre, pudiendo visualizar todo aquello que le sea de interés. Por otra parte, está la interfaz de gestión. Desde aquí el administrador podrá añadir, modificar o borrar noticias, eventos, publicaciones, así como Tesis, TFM, información de los miembros del grupo, etc. Para el entorno de gestión se ha decidido el uso de WordPress, un gestor de contenidos de código abierto muy conocido y utilizado por una gran comunidad.

[EN]This project carried out as a Final Degree Project involves in the implementation and improvement of the website for the Data Mining Research Group. The project aims to update the existing website of the Data Mining Research Group of the University of Salamanca, giving this web a more modern look. This web application can be approached from two different points of view, the external user who will use the web to visualize information, and group members who will enter publications and data of interest into the system. For the user, it will be a simple and intuitive interface that allows him to navigate through any section of the page, freely, being able to visualize everything that is of interest to him. On the other hand, there is the management interface. From here the administrator can add, modify or delete news, events, publications, Thesis, TFM, group members’ information, and more. For the management environment it has been decided the use of WordPress, a well-known open source content manager used by a large community
