Abstract

[ES] Voces de la Revolución Cubana: la construcción del régimen desde la percepción de sus funcionarios, es una investigación exploratoria que describe y analiza la formación y consolidación del régimen cubano a través de testimonios de funcionarios clave. Se enfoca en cómo el llamado Gobierno Revolucionario dirigido por Fidel Castro, tras derrocar a Fulgencio Batista, estableció uno de los regímenes autoritarios más longevos. Mediante entrevistas en profundidad se explora la creación y configuración de los instrumentos políticos, jurídicos, sociales y culturales del nuevo régimen, se examina el personalismo de Fidel Castro y Ernesto «Che» Guevara y la influencia del contexto internacional, en particular de Estados Unidos y la Unión Soviética. La investigación pretende destacar las opiniones y experiencias de los funcionarios, desplazando el foco tradicionalmente centrado en los líderes más prominentes del proceso. [EN] Voices of the Cuban Revolution: the construction of the regime from the perception of its officials, is an exploratory research that describes and analyzes the formation and consolidation of the Cuban regime through the testimonies of key officials. It focuses on how the so-called Revolutionary Government led by Fidel Castro, after overthrowing Fulgencio Batista, established one of the longest-lived authoritarian regimes. Through in-depth interviews it explores the creation and configuration of the political, legal, social and cultural instruments of the new regime, and examines the influence of the international context, particularly the United States and the Soviet Union, and the personalism of Fidel Castro and Ernesto “Che” Guevara. The research seeks to highlight the opinions and experiences of officials, shifting the focus from the traditional focus on the most prominent leaders of the process.
