[ES] El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo la realización de un análisis de la estética de "Hereditary" (2018), película del director de cine y guionista estadounidense contemporáneo Ari Aster. Tanto sus largometrajes como cortometrajes se encuadran en el género del terror y han conseguido cautivar y aterrar a un amplio público internacional. Aster hace uso de lo siniestro para suscitar el terror al espectador, y que se convertirá en su sello de identidad. Analiza cómo en el cine de Ari Aster hay numerosos elementos que evocan lo siniestro tal y como plantearon Freud y Trías. Además, se examina cómo esta categoría estética contribuye a la creación de una experiencia cinematográfica única y aterradora. [EN] This research paper aims to analyze the aesthetics of "Hereditary"(2018), a film directed by contemporary American filmmaker and screenwriter Ari Aster. Both his feature films and short films fall within the horror genre and have succeeded in captivating and terrifying a broad international audience. Aster uses the uncanny to provoke terror in the viewer, which will become his trademark. The paper examines how Aster's cinema contains numerous elements that evoke the uncanny, as proposed by Freud and Trías. Furthermore, it explores how this aesthetic category contributes to the creation of a unique and terrifying cinematic experience.
