Black Ember: un cómic de fantasía medieval

Abstract

[ES]Este trabajo consiste en la creación del prólogo de un cómic de fantasía medieval junto con el concept art previo, teniendo una serie de objetivos a cumplir. En el trabajo, se explorará también la historia del cómic desde los inicios del cómic americano hasta la novela gráfica actual, pasando también por los inicios del concept art y, por último, por la historia de la fantasía medieval como género, desde sus posibles inicios hasta la actualidad. En la metodología se podrá seguir el desarrollo que ha tenido este proyecto, desde los antecedentes y referentes que han influido en su concepción, hasta los pasos que se han seguido desde que se empezó, con la creación del mundo y del guion y el diseño de personajes, los lugares y los objetos hasta que se ha llegado al resultado final: el prólogo completo de la historia. [EN]This project it’s about the creation of the prologue for a medieval fantasy comic, along with the preliminary concept art, with a series of objectives to be met. The project will also explore the history of comics, from the early days of american comics to today’s graphic novels, pas-sing through the origins of concept art and, lastly, the history of medieval fantasy as a genre, from it’s possible beginnings to the present. The methodology will trace the development of this project, from the antecedents and influences that shaped its conception, to the steps taken since its inception, including the creation of the world and the script and the desing of the characters, locations, and the objects, until the final result was achieved: the complete prolo-gue of the story.
