dc.description	Se estudia el tema del horror en la obra de Honoré de Balzac, principalmente analizando tres de sus historias fantásticas, incluidas en "Études philosophiques", donde se muestran los mecanismos invisibles del hombre y de la sociedad. Es en esta obra donde se pone de manifiesto una de sus más importantes ideas: el poder del pensamiento, que en las historia fantásticas de Balzac se revela como destructivo.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	This study wants to emphasize thetopic of horror in Honoré de Balzac s writings,mainly through the analysis of threefantastic stories: La Peau de chagrin, Melmothréconcilié and L Elixir de longue vie.These three stories are included in theÉtudes philosophiques, the part of LaComédie Humaine in which Balzac intendsto show the invisible mechanisms of mankindand society.
