Entornos virtuales:nuevos espacios para la investigación cualitativa

Abstract

La fuerte incursión de la comunicación e interacción tecnológica en la sociedad ha pro-vocado profundas y veloces transformaciones que afectan a todos los campos de la acti-vidad humana. La incorporación de las TIC en el campo de la investigación social en general y específicamente en la investigación cualitativa supone un potencial temático como metodológico para el estudio de la problemática social. Las repercusiones y trans-formaciones socioculturales que estas tecnologías generan en las diferentes actividades e interacciones de las personas tanto en su entorno convencional como en el virtual, es cuestión de interés y por tanto de investigación para lo cual el investigador se despla-za hacia nuevos espacios. El artículo presenta un panorama general sobre la naturaleza y dinámicas de actuación en los entornos virtuales como nuevos escenarios de y para la investigación cualitativa, la cual constituye un pilar metodológico fundamental en la investigación social.

The strong incursion of the communication and technological interaction in the society has caused deep and speedy transformations that affect to all the fields of the human activity. The incorporation of the TIC in the field of the social investigation in general and specifically in the qualitative investigation it supposes a thematic potential as meth-odological for the study of the social problem. The repercussions and socio-cultural transformations that these technologies generate so much in the different activities and people's interactions in their conventional environment as in the virtual one, it is ques-tion of interest and therefore of investigation for that which the investigator you "it dis-places" toward new spaces. The article presents a general panorama on the nature and dynamic of performance in the virtual environments as new scenarios of and for the qualitative investigation, which constitutes a fundamental methodological pillar in the social investigation.
