Técnicas y contenidos en la novelística de Raffaele Nigro

Abstract

[ES] A través de I Fuochi del Basento, Ombre sull'Ofanto, Diario Mediterráneo y Viaggio a Salamanca se pueden extraer las principales ideas que caracterizan toda la obra de Raffaele Nigro. Predomina en su producción el valor de la palabra que el autor ensalza mediante un lenguaje coloreado de metáforas, reiteraciones y usos propios de la tradición popular: refranes, proverbios, leyendas y fragmentos líricos. Un estilo de escritura que ilustra perfectamente el tema que más inquieta al escritor. El tema de la pérdida de la cultura popular que para él está representada en la cultura mediterránea. En el Mediterráneo precisamente encuentra Nigro el punto de unión de toda su temática: la inmigración, la marginación del Sur, el mito de América, la fuga y la muerte como solución de la vida.

[EN] Through / Fuochi del Basento, Ombre sull'Ofanto, Diario Mediterráneo and Viaggio a Salamanca the main ideas that characterise the whole work of Raffaele Nigro can be extracted. Predominant in his production is the value of the word, which the author extols by means of language coloured with metaphors, reiterations, and particular uses of folk tradition: sayings, proverbs, legends and lyrical fragments. This is a style of writing that perfectly illustrates the topic that most concerns the writer, the topic of the loss of folk culture that for him is represented in Mediterranean culture. The Mediterranean is precisely where Nigro finds the point of union of all his themes: emigration, marginalization of the south, the myth of America, flight and death as a solution to life.
