Abstract

[ES] El artículo trata de la necesidad de restituir a Alvaro al lugar que siempre debió ocupar en la historia literaria del siglo XX, fuera de cualquier atributo calabrés y meridional como seña de identidad irrefutable y marcando su evidente modernidad analizando algunos aspectos vitales (la infancia, la adolescencia, el papel de la mujer en la sociedad, la figura del padre, etc.) en algunas de sus obras.

[EN] This article deals with the need to restore Alvaro to the place he always should have occupied in the literary history of the twentieth century, apart from his Calabrian and southern attributes as an irrefutable mark of identity. Here, his evident modernity is emphasised and certian aspects of his life analysed (childhood, adolescence, woman's role in society, the father figure, etc.) in some of his works.
