[ES] Tras una pequeña introducción sobre las reescrituras del mito de Medea y después de dar noticia del cómo y el porqué de la gestación de Lunga notte di Medea el autor del artículo se centra en la comparación de esta incursión de Corrado Alvaro en el mundo del teatro con las clásicas de Eurípides y Séneca para justificar la actualidad y el éxito en su momento, 1949 es la fecha del estreno, de la obra del calabrés.

[EN] After a brief introduction to the rewritings of the myth of Medea and after explaining the how and why of the gestation of Lunga notte di Medea, the author of the article focuses on the comparison between this incursion of Corrado Alvaro in the world of the theatre and the classic works of Euripides and Seneca in order to justify its pertinence and success at the time of its debut in 1949.
