The Pylian tablets marked by the ideogram AES and classified as the Jn series can be subdivided into two subseries dealing respectively with the delivery of bronze from various places to the central authority (Jn 829, 881), and with the distribution of bronze to individual smiths (all the rest). The latter is a unique group of texts, unparalleled in other Mycenaean archives, which provides highly detailed information about the organization of this particular craft in the Kingdom of Pylos.en_EN
