"The Princess and the Pea" and its methodological applications

Abstract

[EN]The selected text is taken from a website and it is a short titled "The Princess and the Pea", written by the famous author Hans Christian Andersen. It has been decided to choose this particular story because it was considered that it might be an interesting story and fun for young people and in this sense, he could get his attention, but at the same time, because it sought to maximize this text in terms certain linguistic branches, with this information source may be a possible way forward. Major areas of linguistic knowledge that you want to concentrate on are: discourse analysis, discourse semantics, discourse and grammar and methodological resources for research and curriculum design. These branches language will be developed through the realization of different types of activities to be proposed to all students. The main goal of this work will promote a type of methodology based on the notion of "autonomous learning" so that students realize that they are acquiring the knowledge for themselves through their own efforts.

[ES]El texto que se ha seleccionado se ha tomado de una página web y se trata de un corto titulado "la princesa y el guisante", escrito por el famoso autor Hans Christian Andersen. Se ha decidido elegir esta historia en particular porque se consideró que podía resultar una historia interesante y divertida para los jóvenes y en este sentido, que podía llamar su atención, pero al mismo tiempo, porque se pretendía aprovechar al máximo este texto en lo que respecta a determinadas ramas lingüísticas, siendo esta fuente de información puede ser una posible vía para ello. Las principales áreas de conocimiento lingüístico que se desean concentrar en el son los siguientes: análisis del discurso, la semántica del discurso, el discurso y la gramática y los recursos metodológicos de investigación y diseño curricular. Estas ramas lingüísticas van a ser desarrollados a través de la realización de diferentes tipos de actividades que se propondrán a todos los estudiantes. El objetivo principal de este trabajo será promover un tipo de metodología basada en la noción de "aprendizaje autónomo" de tal manera que los estudiantes se den cuenta de que están adquiriendo los conocimientos por sí mismos gracias a sus propios esfuerzos.
