Abstract

[ES]A finales de 1969, el fundador y director del semanario Triunfo, José Ángel Ezcurra Carrillo, decidió terminar la relación económica que vinculaba su publicación a Movierecord, entonces la mayor y más influyente empresa de comunicación presente en España. Para Triunfo tenía un doble valor: por un lado, significaba un considerable riesgo, puesto que el equilibrio financiero de una empresa editorial es siempre más bien precario; por otro, representaba el distanciamiento de una determinada línea política y el consiguiente acercamiento a las líneas progresistas, que definirían a Triunfo de entonces en adelante.

[EN] At the end of 1969, the founder and the director of the weekly Victory, Jose Ángel Ezcurra Carrillo, decided to finish the economic relation that was linking his publication to Movierecord, then the major one and more influential company of present communication in Spain. For Victory it had a double value: on the one hand, it was meaning a considerable risk, since the financial balance of a publishing company is always rather precarious; for other one, it was representing the distancing of a certain political line and the consequent approximation to the progressive lines, which they would define to Victory of then in forward.
