[EN] In this thesis we have investigated the characteristics of firms moderate the relationship between R & D and the value of the company. Therefore, we have developed a pricing model based on the condition of capital market arbitrage whereby the value of the company depends on the "residual income" and investment in R & D. Using this our valuation model, we interact the variable R & D with several characteristics of the company with the aim of investigating how the company characteristics moderate the relationship between R & D and market valuation of investment in R & D.
