Rebelión militar y represión franquista en Galicia

Abstract

[ES] En este artículo se estudia, en primer lugar, la movilización sociopolítica que precede al golpe de estado en Galicia para continuar con el análisis del proceso de gestación de la sublevación de julio de 1936, sus antecedentes y la toma del poder por los militares y sus apoyos sociales y políticos. También se profundiza en las diferentes modalidades de la represión física con resultado de muerte, en la caracterización de las víctimas, en las distintas fases y en sus objetivos finales: paralizar la resistencia, garantizar una gigantesca movilización de recursos hacia los frentes bélicos y asegurar la imposición de un nuevo orden político y social mediante la eliminación física de todo aquel que representase un peligro para su consolidación. Finalmente, se realiza una aproximación al número de asesinados en el conjunto de Galicia.

[EN] In this article one studies, in the first place, the social and political mobilization that precedes to the coup d’etat in Galicia. Next, one analyzes the process of gestation of the military revolt, its antecedents and the taking of the power by the social and political insurrections and their supports. Also it is deepened in the different modalities from the physical repression, in the characterization of the victims, the different phases and their final missions: to paralyze the resistance, to guarantee an enormous mobilization of resources it war and to assure the imposition a new political and social order; for it the physical elimination of all that was necessary that represented a danger for its consolidation. Finally, it is made a assasinated approach to the number of in the set of Galicia.
