El circuito bibliológico de la traducción literaria

Abstract

[ES] Las traducciones desempeñan un status distintivo en el mundo de la edición: no pertenecen ni verdaderamente a la cultura de origen ni a la de llegada, puesto que habitan una zona intermedia entre las lenguas y las naciones. Por derecho vinculado a la editorial que lo publica, el libro traducido permanece unido -por el nombre del autor- a la cultura de origen. Pero la traducción, cuando adapta y transforma un texto extranjero para volverlo legible en una lengua de acogida, contribuye a preservar la identidad de la lengua y cultura que la acoge. De tal manera que la traducción forma parte de una literatura nacional en la medida en que esta última aclimata y adapta los textos según sus propias necesidades.
