Memoria etnográfica de Torregamones: un pueblo de Zamora

Abstract

[ES]Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster tiene como objetivo principal recuperar y documentar la memoria etnográfica del pueblo de Torregamones, centrando la atención en aspectos clave de la vida cotidiana y las prácticas tradicionales. Desde un enfoque cualitativo y etnográfico, se emplearon entrevistas semiestructuradas y observación directa como técnicas principales para recoger los relatos y experiencias de los habitantes. El trabajo de campo permitió acceder a una valiosa memoria oral que ha sido transcrita, analizada y estructurada en torno a tres ejes temáticos: vida cotidiana y organización del trabajo, rituales y celebraciones religiosas y fiestas y tradiciones. Visibilizando cómo eran estas expresiones culturales y cómo han evolucionado. Los resultados evidencian la riqueza del patrimonio inmaterial de la comunidad y el papel fundamental de la memoria oral en la preservación cultural. Además, se destaca el valor de la etnografía como herramienta educativa y social, así como la urgencia de seguir documentando estos saberes antes de que desaparezcan. Este trabajo contribuye, desde una mirada ética y comprometida, a la valorización de la cultura popular como parte esencial de la identidad colectiva. [EN]The main objective of this Master's Thesis is to recover and document the ethnographic memory of the village of Torregamones, focusing on key aspects of daily life and traditional practices. Using a qualitative and ethnographic approach, semi-structured interviews and direct observation were employed as the main techniques for collecting the stories and experiences of the inhabitants. The fieldwork provided access to valuable oral memory that has been transcribed, analyzed, and structured around three thematic areas: daily life and work organization, religious rituals and celebrations, and festivals and traditions. This highlights what these cultural expressions were like and how they have evolved. The results demonstrate the richness of the community's intangible heritage and the fundamental role of oral memory in cultural preservation. In addition, it highlights the value of ethnography as an educational and social tool, as well as the urgency of continuing to document this knowledge before it disappears. This work contributes, from an ethical and committed perspective, to the appreciation of popular culture as an essential part of collective identity.
