El Kitāb Šams al-Ma‘ārif al-Kubrà (al-ŷuz’ al-awwal) de A¬mad b. ‘Alī al-Būnī: Sufismo y ciencias ocultas

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo tiene como origen una breve Tesina o Trabajo de Grado que realizamos en el ano 2005, en el Departamento de Lengua Española de la Universidad de Salamanca, titulada “al-Būnī y la Enciclopedia Mágica”. Dicho trabajo constaba de un breve estudio de la obra y las ideas de al-Būnī, así como de una edición comparada y traducción de los dos primeros capítulos del Šams al-Ma‘ārif al-Kubra, basada en tres ediciones diferentes de dicha obra. Tras constatar el enorme numero de manuscritos y versiones existentes de la obra, así como su heterogeneidad, nos decidimos por basar principalmente nuestra edición en el manuscrito de Paris Ar. 2650-1, ya que parece ser también el texto base de las ediciones corrientes. De esta manera, nuestro propósito fue siempre obtener un texto en cuanto a estructura y contenidos lo mas fiel posible a la versión actual de la obra.

[EN] The origin of this paper is a brief Degree Thesis or job we did in the year 2005 in the Spanish Language Department at the University of Salamanca, entitled "al-Bunni and Magic Encyclopedia." This work consisted of a brief study of the work and ideas of al-Buni, as well as a comparative edition and translation of the first two chapters of al-Ma'arifa Sams al-Kubra, based on three different editions of this work . After noting the huge number of manuscripts and existing versions of the work, and their heterogeneity, we decided to base mainly our manuscript edition in Paris Ar. 2650-1, as it seems to be the basic text of the current editions. Thus, our aim was always to get a text in terms of structure and contents as faithful as possible to the current version of the work.
